Sadly i only stayed for 1 night but couldnt fault a thing. I had one of the smaller rooms but this was perfect for me and it was warm and comfiortable with everything i needed. I hadnt realised when i booked but the location was also perfect 1 minuets walk to the local pub which seemed to have live music most nights and a friendly atmosphere and a few more minuets walk and you were in town. If i had to pick fault i would say a larger towel would be better as i am only small and mine just fitted me but a larger person might appreciate a bigger one. The owners were always avalible if needed but werent too emposing and made a fantastic breakfast. I would deffiantly reccommend them to friends and family and would love to stay again sometime. Thank you

Claire and Steve Brunn were very gracious and warm. It was like coming home to their guesthouse. It is also conveniently located to the railway station and the best chippy. I will absolutely return for another visit in future.

A very pleasant base for a visit to Devon.
The hosts are really friendly and keen to ensure your stay is pleasant and enjoyable. The room I booked is small and has a small separate toilet and shower room along the corridor. It was tremendous value for money compared to other options available for the dates I needed to stay in the area. I'd be happy to stay there again in future,

An amazing stay
Before I arrived I’d read great reviews about this guest house and how friendly and hospitable the owners were and from Start to finish the experience was amazing! The room was nicely presented and you could tell they were making a real effort to make it a pleasurable stay. The sheets smelled lovely which is rare in hotels and the breakfast was superb! Can’t say enough good things apart from thank you and I’ll be back.

Perfect night away!
Perfect stay away at this lovely guest house. The owners were very warm and welcoming, full breakfast was well cooked and plentiful as cereals, toast and yogurt also available. After a few hours out, we spent a cosy night in our room with board games from the landing, which was fun and relaxing. We were just a few minutes away from the pier, train station, bars and arcades etc. Lovely overnight get away in winter, just what we needed. Best part was having Tetley tea bags in our room! Would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to our next visit!

Fabulous B&B in a central location of beach & town
Thanks to Steve and Claire for a wonderful welcoming experience. I spent 3 nights at the Bella Vista guest house with my daughter Catherine. It was so nice!! We had a twin room which was ensuite with shower & toilet. Room was so comfy & clean, with tea/coffee facilites in the room. Breakfast was amazing, I enjoyed the full english with coffee and my daugher opted for the cereals,toast & juice which set us up for the day. Wifi was a bonus and was fast. Such a great location with lots of little gift shops and arcades. Few minutes walk to centre of town where there is a train & bus station to take you into Torquay and other nearby towns. Beach & Pier is a 5 minute walk away with large playpark right next to it. In the summer there is a big wheel and lots of outdoor amusements right next to the beach. Preston & Goodrington beaches are nearby, both within walking distance. We also went to Brixam on the car ferry and Dawlish which has black swans. There are so many places to visit nearby which makes the Bella Vista a perfect base. Can't wait to visit again and explore more of the area!!

Claire and Steve were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming. Bella Vista is a short distance from the town centre, sea front and harbour. The accommodation is modest but very comfortable. Breakfast is a nice selection with freshly cooked full English. No doubt that we will stay again when we visit Paignton.

Lovely 4 day break
Steve and Claire have only been at Bella Vista for four months but have already made it home from home. Nothing is too much trouble for them, plenty of hot water and comfortable beds and a delicious full English breakfast every morning. What more do you need.

Amazing stay, amazing couple. They had only just took it over and when they have put their own stamp on it (mainly the decor) i have no doubt it will be amazing. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was the best! The service was great, they were really friendly and super helpful. Def stay here!!

Great Stay
From the moment we arrived Sue made us welcome and treated us as family. We had room number 5 on the second floor. It was comfortable and was just right for our stay. Full English breakfast freshly cooked and spot on setting us up for the day. Bella Vista is ideally situated for the beach and bars/shopping. Will definitely return when we come to Paignton again.

We were welcomed by the owner Sue who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We had stayed in this room before so I knew what to expect. 2 single beds, table & chairs. Small bathroom with a shower no bath. The breakfast was always lovely, a choice of cereal, toast and a full English and eggs to order. The only thing is the parking which at times can b tricky but Sue always checked every morning who was using their cars incase u had to move yours. It's only a few minutes walk to the beach front and local shops. Also a Vue cinema if u fancy a movie.

Great holiday all round!
I can't fault the place at all. The accommodation was good, the food was excellent, and the hospitality and service were exceptional. It was close to town center, the pier, and the local La Vue cinema which is very hand; the Spinning Wheel pub is right next door which was nice as it's my favorite pub in Paignton. I came with my wife and we plan to go there again.

Recomended Friendly hotel
It's the fourth year I’ve stayed at this hotel and if working in the area again will be booking a fifth stay. The owners have changed since last time but still as friendly if not more so. I would gladly recommend the hotel on location, situation in the town, and overall excellent. One downside for me personally was the bed was harder than what I have myself, apart from that I could not improve for the price. Again excellent wonderful stay.
