The station opened in 1913 and remained operational until 1988. At the time of its construction, it was the tallest rail station in the world. A personal connection to this building would be that my father shipped out from this station to Marine boot camp after being drafted in the Korean War. A return trip for more photos and further exploration is definitely on the horizon.

The home was very cozy I loved the overall design and decor. I would definitely love to stay here when I visit again. Check in and check out was easy and the host was very helpful and accommodating.
