The property is really run down and very poorly cared for. Dirty and out of date. Evening staff is rude. Bed only had two super flat pillows and super thin blankets. Was told they didn’t have any extra pillows and had to wait until the next day when I went back down to the service desk for more blankets. Same thing with towels. I was given two and was staying for three nights. I will never stay here again.

I have travelled EXTENSIVELY ( for work) for 30 years. And can honestly say that this was THE WORST hotel room I have ever stayed in. My standards are not high as I have often stayed at Motel 6/Super 8 and even F!/Ibis Budget in Europe. I will say that the guys who checked me in was pleasant. Had my back not been against the wall due to a overbooking scenario in Detroit I would have kept going even though my arrival was close to midnight

The staff go above and beyond in accomodating theur guests! 5 stars for observing teamwork makes the dreamwork at the Romulus Rodeway Inn. The staff cooridnate, communicate and are friendly while accomodating guests needs. NICE JOB!!!

Too many people actually live here. I counted 5 pit bulls being walked. Saw the police pretty much daily because of disturbances.

by far this is one of the worst places I've ever stayed at in my life! The lady that check to see him had a horrible attitude, supposed of been a non-smoking room, but there were burn marks on all of the furniture in the room, reeked of cigarette smoke to the point I had to wear a mask to bed. I do not recommend anyone stay here unless you're really just trying to get a piece of tail and leave!

One of the few places with a room available when a large number of flights at DET Metro were cancelled. The staff member responsible for check in was very accommodating and effective as the large number of people gathered to ask for a room or check in.

The room has everything we need and it's very cheap place to crash for two or three days. But it could be cleaner. Walls are dirty and one piece of the wall is broken with a big hole. Microwave is missing the turning plate, bathtub kept running water, cannot be turned off and it was pretty loud. Breakfast is only around 8am and the staff was taking some fruits and bread out from the fridge only when they saw us. I gave a three star mainly because of the running water, otherwise it could be four. But please note, this review has the low price in mind. I have an Airbnb, a room with shared bathroom is $42-45. For $47 with all the facilities included, I am pretty happy with that.

Good for an overnight stay if you're not expecting too much. The guests were a little sketchy, the parking lot was tore up and the carpet and a/c were dirty. The bed and bathroom were clean and the clerk was nice. I'd stay here again though as an overnight stop if I'm back in the area.

The main advantage of this property is location - it is just minutes from the North Terminal at DTW. But, we reserved two rooms for our party, and the floors of both rooms were filthy, with visible particles of grime and unknown substances on the rugs. We did ask for the rooms to be vacuumed, and someone came promptly to clean up the floor debris, but it was a bit shocking that the rooms could have been judged ready for occupancy. Also, the bathroom was extremely grimy,dark, and small and appeared to be something of a mold factory
