With a sleeping capacity of up to 12 people, this house is perfect for groups or families travelling together. Kids will love the third floor loft space (features 1 queen and 2 twin beds) Other things to note 🏠 Older home with character This is an older Detroit home that has been thoughtfully renovated while preserving much of its original character. Many of the floors are the original hardwoods, which have been restored rather than replaced. 🔧 Renovation notes As with most older homes, there may be small imperfections that come with age and prior construction. In this home, for example, there is a floor vent in the kitchen that was added during HVAC work and is a bit unusually placed, but it is not expected to be a nuisance during your stay. 🏘 The neighborhood The home is located in a residential Detroit neighborhood that reflects the city’s character — you’ll see a mix of homes, some more updated than others. This is typical of Detroit. The neighborhood is safe, and guests often comment on how friendly people are. 🚗 Parking Street parking only, with generally ample space available nearby for guests. 🌿 Outdoor space & gatherings While the home comfortably accommodates larger groups indoors, outdoor hangout space is limited. Due to Airbnb policies and City regulations related to gatherings, the property is not well suited for extended outdoor lounging, dining, or socializing. The upside is the location: being close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit, you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants, patios, bars, and cafés within a 10-minute drive, making it easy to enjoy meals and drinks out while using the home as a comfortable place to relax and regroup. The maximum capacity for this house is 12 people. No additional guests and no guests who are not listed on the booking. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to an additional fee and are strictly at the host\`s discretion. Our concierge will check you into the property to ensure a smooth process. You must contact our concierge at the number provided prior to arrival at the property. Any filming or commercial photography bookings subject to approval and agreement of host. Medium or long term stays are subject to additional cleaning. Cleaning fee is $200 every two weeks for reservations greater than 4 weeks. Reservations of 21-30 days require an additional cleaning at the two week mark (also $200). If items in the house are damaged or broken, you will absolutely be required to pay for it. We hope the details help future renters.Kitchen is WELL stocked with plates & pans. Fewer forks/spoons but still 8ish. Most utensils, no cheese grater, no zip locks. Working dishwasher and microwave, fridge was about 3/4 size but enough for 6 people over a week. Coop grocery 2 socks away, cute and awesome.. Some restaurants but more near Wayne State U about a mile south. Wifi only worked for 1 in our party, perhaps router needs reset. 4 smart TVs. Sign in with your own accounts. The main dining table is awesome and living room sectional could seat 10.House is old but renovated. You can hear Street noise in front bedrooms, which was quiet most nights except a huge late Sat night party. The block has some empty lots and several renovated homes but a few that need work. Street parking is easy but we learned to enter from East to park on the house side. The house has a security system and we felt safe but set it off on arrival because we didn't disarm within 60 seconds. The backyard isn't set up for anything and the basement is off limits. 1st floor has BA and kitchen, dining room and living room. The downstairs BA light isn't a normal switch but is part of the inside outlet. 2nd floor has 4 BR, 1 BA. That BA has a small shower. 3rd floor has a bedroom with no door but extra beds. All showers have top down shower heads and a handheld. ##### Eric M.
