"We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back! The cabin was absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, cozy, and surrounded by peaceful forest views. Having lake access made our stay even more special, whether it was relaxing by the water or taking in the quiet scenery. One of the highlights was the spa. "We took my parents on a little escape to this lakeside haven, and it was just the reset we needed. The cottage is very cozy and homey, and beautifully decorated. The lake at our doorstep was the best part - we loved taking the kayaks, canoe, and rowboat out and enjoying the water from sunrise to sunset. A trip to nearby Salmon Falls and a very fun, if a bit steep, hike down to the base is a must. Brian helped us figure out the internet situation, and we were never without WiFi. The mattresses were comfortable but very loud. For some reason, we smelled either skunks or someone smoking pot nearby on and off throughout our stay, which is important to know if you are sensitive to that. We took up someone’s helpful suggestion to bring paper plates, which decreased our handwashing load. I loved the huge soaking tub - a little tray or table nearby would have been helpful for storing toiletries without having to get up and down or in and out while taking a bath. The same went for the shower - a caddy or shelf would have been a nice convenience. It is important to know that if you want seclusion and privacy, this listing may not be the one. The six cottages situated around the lake are close together, and there are always people walking around. For example, our neighbors had to walk through our fire pit area, including while we were out enjoying a campfire, to get to the dock with the boats. Overall, we would love to come back someday! We loved this cozy retreat from reality."
