"Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern (11, 12) im Ferienhaus. Wir befanden uns im Untergeschoss. Diese Wohnung ist für 3 Personen ausgelegt. Zu sechst mit nur einem Schlafzimmer war das ein wenig schwierig. In der Wohnstube befand sich noch eine Couch, auf der zwei Personen schlafen konnten. Eine weitere Person hat dann auf einer Schlafliege im Kaminzimmer schlafen müssen. Der Küchentisch reichte nicht aus. Wir haben in Etappen gegessen. Die Wohnung selbst ist renovierungsbedürftig. Der Standort ermöglicht viele Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Die Sauberkeit hätte besser sein können. Aufgrund des Alters der Unterkunft und der teils bedenklichen Strominstallationen nur bedingt für Kleinkinder geeignet."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"The room was so clean and comfortable! It was warm but the front desk allowed us to borrow fans. It was very spacious. Breakfast was a really great spread. The hotel is very close to town, no more than a 15 minute walk. The only problem I had was I had to have cash to get water and didn’t bring any so I had to run to the store to get water with my card. But other than that it was perfect. It was very accommodating for our dog as well!"
