The owners are very nice, they speak good English and make you feel welcomed. They have two adorable and friendly cats that will come visit you. "We had a wonderful stay at this bezutiful hotel. It was somewhat remote via train but once there the charm and natural beauty of the area made it all worthwhile. Our room was a suite in traditional Japanese style. It was immaculate with many amenities. The buffet breakfast and dinners were of excellent quality and variety. We can highly recommend the hotel and its most helpful staff. The free shuttle to the station made our departure carefree. Arigato! "

"When I arrived I was greeted by a very sweet old lady and man. They showed me to my room with so much kindness. I could feel the love. My room has strong air conditioning (very important during summer) I was served an incredible dinner in a private room and I enjoyed a bath. A young man spoke very good English to me and suggested I wake up at 5am to watch the monks chant. I did and loved it. They served me an amazing breakfast the next day and I left. I loved staying here very much, I will remember it forever. "
