"We enjoyed our three nights in Scott's head, using this property as our home base for our exploration of the southern top of the island. Microwave, fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven. The hot water in the shower worked great, which we learned is not always the case on the island. Tv, great Internet. Curtains are window sheets so be sure to bring an eye mask and ear plugs. Bedroom a/c worked great in both bedrooms. Be sure to get any and all necessities in Roseau before making your way south...

"We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily. The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. "Of the places I stayed in the Carribean, this was one of the most interesting and fun. It was an ecotourism type stay in a mountainous forest with tremendous views. The bedrooms had large doors that allowed it to be open to the front deck area to enjoy views and nature while sleeping. The guest house units seem to be separate and private. "My two adult children and I enjoyed a comfortable stay in two private bedrooms of the home of the gentleman that owns and lives in the advertised property. He was a kind host, graciously welcoming us when we arrived far too late in the evening and waking before 5am to see us off for our early morning departure. The bed I shared with my adult daughter was the most comfortable I slept on during our entire trip. My only concern is that Vrbo had advertised this property to us as an "Entire Home"...

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

"This was my 2nd time staying at Pinard Mountain Resort and it was wonderful. The beautiful views and calm tranquil surroundings made my stay amazing. The staff are warm and welcoming. I was very happy to see Ms. Remy again. She is a beautiful & intellegent young woman and a great asset to the resort. I was very sad to leave but am hopeful to come back and stay again next year.
