"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk...

However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. "Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak."

"Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. "

"AWESOME EXPERIENCE. Everyone - front office, housekeeping, F&B, & the spa - were exceptional with services par excellence. Rishnati qt front desk was OUTSTANDING, along with Nadan. Buffet breakfast and dinner were superb. Very scenic location - interiors are very beautiful. Highly recommended!"

"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "
