"Great property! Clean, comfortable, well-equipped kitchen. Only one bedroom (upstairs) has actual beds. The downstairs bedroom has Japanese style futons. The stairs to the second floor are circular and somewhat steep, a challenge for those with mobility limitations or heavy luggage. Lots of space indoors for kids to play, but none outside. "This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. The breakfast you cook yourself after a easy to follow instruction. I would love to come back for more than pone night. "

"家族での海水浴(長井浜海水浴場、若狭和田海水浴場）で利用しました。 階段が昔ながらの急な傾斜で子供達は少し怖かったようですが、満足できるお宿でした。食器類も充実していて、調味料も置いてあったので助かりました。ドラム式洗濯機で洗濯物を乾燥までできたのは妻にとって、とても高評価だったようです。ベッドもひろびろでぐっすり寝れました。 また小浜に来る機会があればまた泊まりたい宿です。 ありがとうございました。"

"家族7人で滞在させて頂きました。駅からも近く、後から来る人、先に帰る人にも良い条件で自由に別荘気分を味わえました。 びわ湖で、マリンスポーツもはじめて挑戦でき、はじめて乗るビスケットに大興奮。良い経験が、できました。 また、BBQ中の急な雷雨にもテントを出して頂いたりと、スタッフの方の素早い対応助かりました。 ベッドが、ソファーベッドと押し入れベッドだったので、寝る準備を始めると埃が出るのが難点。また、シャワー室、トイレにはクーラーがなく、夏場だったのもあって、湿気が…扇風機でもあれば嬉しかったです。 まぁ〜そんなマイナス面を打ち消すくらい、びわ湖の景色は最高です。また、利用したいと思いました。"

"We had an amazing time staying at Il Mare Surfhotel Wacasa. We were greeted by the owner who immediately sat us down on the patio overlooking the water and brought us peach sodas and our choice of popsicles! He took pictures of us enjoying the view and when we were ready to check into our room we came inside. Our room was INCREDIBLE! Not only the beachfront balcony but the space was decorated with designer furniture that matched the lobby as well. We made fresh coffee each morning then went to the restaurant next door for a private breakfast served on the terrace. The food was amazing and the waiter was so kind! We spoke with the owner every day at least once, he is such a friendly person and you can tell he loves hosting and interacting with guests! I love the photos he took of us each day and he made sure to email them to us shortly after. This hotel was more than just a place to stay, it was such a lovely experience and we hope to come back one day!"
