Cuyahoga is the only National Park in the state but one of the biggest and best in the US. You can also visit the Lake Erie Islands, accessible by ferry and known for their party atmosphere. Ohio’s big cities of Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus all offer a range of activities, culture and eating options for visitors. Smaller towns like Akron and Dayton offer a more classic Midwestern charm. Dayton was also the home of the Wright Brothers, who were behind the world’s first powered flight. Lounge on the beaches in the north of the state and explore the foothills of the Appalachians in the south. Sports fans should check out the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton and art lovers can get their fill in the Cleveland Museum of Art.
