"Our room was 20 steps to the finest sand and aqua water. We snorkelled daily to see over a hundred coral fish. Also took a 45 min boat trip to snorkel w nurse sharks. We fed other baby sharks by the Aqua Bar. Staff are exceptionally nice and attentive. Mamum decorated our huge suite and jacuzzi for my birthday, so talented and humble! Thanks everyone "

"Hotel is very good. Just need to understand how it works. We got all included package but not all restaurants were included. Also you need to book dinner always in advance, if not you cant eat in the place. Menu is not open, you have limited options and one main course per person. Staff are very friendly. Suggest to move around walking or bicycle. "

"Me and my wife came on our honeymoon to Kurumathi, and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. "Varu was exactly in its name, an Atmosphere experience! From the drum ceremony arrival to the birthday dinner on the dock gazebo to the food and the service. Impeccable! I celebrated my birthday at Varu and absolutely loved the experience. Abby, Zune and the entire crew were phenomenal. I made new friendships here. My only suggestions are more entertainment during the evenings. It's a little bit dead after 9pm during the weekdays. But we would absolutely recommend. Charcoal is worth every moment! Food might be the best we've ever had. Try the lamb skewers, Wagyu and Pork Belly. Phenomenal! My water villa was what dreams are made of! Will definitely be back. "

They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "
