"Ana and Alfonso were very friendly hosts. We stayed for one night in two separate rooms (a couple and my 90 year old mother and sister). The rooms were fitted out and decorated to a high standard. The lift was perfect for my mother, who walks with a stroller, as was the layout of the rooms. We all sat on the roof terrazza late afternoon. Breakfast was varied and of excellent quality (freshly squeezed juice, fruit, yogurt, artisan bread with cheese, ham, honey etc)"

I cannot speak highly enough of the villa or the host who made us feel very welcome (with a delicious home baked chocolate cake that was really enjoyed by all). "Parador Hotel is adjacent to the castle and as such is very convenient for a visit there. The hotel is of a high standard in both condition and cleanliness. Rooms very basic, balcony is just a door - it’s not enough to stand on let alone sit. No mirror other than the small bathroom one. Twin beds only, which is hard to understand when the bathroom door is glass & doesn’t shut properly so quite uncomfortable even for a couple! No answer to calls to confirm. The frosty check-in...
