Even the glassware in the cupboard had a layer of dust on the inside. On arriving back after a day out the bathroom door was shut. When I opening it it had the strongest smell of epoxy or other chemical (not cleaner). Obviously some additional work had been completed. I think the room was let too soon. You’ll have to drive about 12km on a gravel road after you go through the main gate (this is where google map stops). I recommend a car with good ground clearance (Toyota cross worked great for me). The night sky is very clear if you’re a stargazer and the SALT Telescope is about 45 mins drive. The food is great and the cottages are clean and tidy. They also have safari trips since this is a private game reserve. It gets pretty chilly at night and the only way to heat the cottage is with the fireplace, which you’ll need to know how to use it.
