Fairmont Monte Carlo

"The Fairmont is a nice hotel and close to the casino, but far enough away that you’re not in the middle of the crowded tourists spots directly outside the casino. CONS: 1) Be prepared to walk far to get to the elevators. It’s laid out like a long cruise ship, so if your room is on one end of the building, you will be walking a while to the elevators. 2) The regular pool doesn’t really have a view. It overlooks the alley way, the internal courtyard, and balconies. 3) If you get a room close to the Nikki Beach Pool, be prepared for loud, non-stop music, like a night club all day! Just ask to move to the other side of the building, if that’s not your vibe. Good things: Nobu, the Lobby Restaurant, and the outstanding customer service of the Concierge, Bellmen, Housekeeping, Security, and Receptionists! And, again…the location is great!! It sits on the water; I prefer to see the Mediterranean Sea and the yachts."

"Our room smelled like smoke - even though it was non smoking room. They offered to move us in the morning but it was a short trip Ac was great , staff was mostly responsive The shower was backing up , asked them to look into it nothing happened . Charging ports next to bed were not working , not fixed Room was spacious, great view , very convenient location This hotel can be much better with more upkeep The rooms were very clear and comfortable"
Le Meridien Beach Plaza

"Le Méridien Beach Plaza is an excellent choice for families, especially if you’re traveling with kids. The private beach was the highlight of our stay and was perfect for my 11- and 14-year-old. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was excellent, with a great selection and quality. The bar has a nice atmosphere, though I was disappointed there weren’t any TVs since I visited during the World Cup. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to families who want easy access to the beach. However, if your priority is being in the heart of Monaco’s restaurants, shopping, and nightlife, you may prefer staying closer to the city center. Monaco doesn’t have Uber, and the local taxi app can sometimes struggle to find available drivers. The walk to the center isn’t bad, but during the heatwave we experienced it was uncomfortable during the day. Thankfully, evenings were much cooler, making the walk much more enjoyable."
