"Really enjoyed my stay at Tarangire Simba Lodge. The grounds backed onto the park. It was so exciting seeing elephants and other animals around the perimeter, drinking from a natural watering hole. The staff were lovely, and I was lucky to have the owner staying at the same time as they were so engaging and made my stay even better. Outside Tarangire, but a must stay if you're planing a safari in the park. "

If you are looking for secluded, beautiful and restful, this could be the place for you. However it is located far from any town and further from many of the sites we chose to visit. "Very comfortable stay. We spent 6 nights at the Lodge over Christmas and had a great time, exploring Manyara National Park and the local area. Lovely to have wildlife in the camp, wondering around. Lovely swimming pool, great food and very, very helpful staff; we were looked after very well."

"They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great."

"I asked them to arrange airport transport for me the first 3 times nothing was done the 4th they said it’s reserved 4 hours later I get a knock on my door if I want to reserve transport it’s more money etc… I wake up at 3 am for transport next day theres no transport arranged mass panic breaks out. It’s not the end of the world I just don’t get how it’s difficult to arrange transport"
