A pleasure to stay here. Lovely internal garden is a good detox. New gym equipment add to experience. Large number of foreigners stay here. Only choice in Blantyre from what I have seen Planning my next visit "

"The property is an old home in the middle of a better part of Lilongwe. It’s much better than most places there. It’s in a relatively safe neighborhood. As long as you don’t have an “American hotel” expectation you’ll survive. Hotel is peaceful and quaint. Staff is nice. WiFi will drive you nuts though. "

"I had a wonderful 2 nights at blue zebra and wished I could have stayed longer. I was slightly concerned on booking about getting there as there wasn't much info on the website, but as soon as I confirmed my booking with ebookers the hotel was in touch to tel me everything I needed - including details on drivers from Lilongwe and how I could book a boat time to suit my arrival (at an extra cost which was very clear and totally worth it for an extra night).
