"We really enjoyed our stay at Dar El Jeld. The hotel is beautifully renovated, with wonderful facilities, and we truly appreciated our spacious room and the amenities. That said, we did run into some service issues with the front desk. We repeatedly sent messages about laundry, and a change to our pickup time, but didn’t receive acknowledgement until we phoned. We also asked to change a spa appointment time. Initially, we were told it couldn’t be done, and after pressing, a call was made, but we weren’t informed afterwards that the change wasn’t possible. Overall, we loved the property, but feel the front desk would benefit from stronger management support, and clearer follow-up with guests."
