I have been fortunate to have visited the Maldives seven times and have stayed at a different island each time - this is the first time that my husband and I agreed we will be going back to the same place.
The staff - Moosa (head chef), Kyra and Richard should all have a special mention for their outstanding service, hospitality and their level of dedication to customer happiness and satisfaction. For example I was having a hot chocolate after dinner and I asked if they had any marshmallows...

All good things come to an end... We've just come back home from an 11 nights' stay at the Barefoot Hotel on Hanimaadhoo. Our head full of precious memories. We could not have chosen a better place for our first stay in the Maldives and for my husband 50th birthday. The Barefoot hotel is an eco friendly hotel, where it feels good living. It is layed back, very well managed, friendly, clean and tidy. Staff were discreet but always ready to help. The hotel is well integrated on the island, right...

I honestly cannot believe how beautiful this place was. I read some negative reviews from a few people and started to wonder if we'd regret booking here, but the moment we stepped foot on this Island was just WOW.
Beautiful, clean, different food theme very night. The food isn't Michelin star worthy but it's good and there's fantastic choice.

A Dream Honeymoon in Paradise
We spent 10 unforgettable days at Hideaway Maldives Beach Resort & Spa for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The resort is the definition of luxury — romantic, peaceful, and beautifully maintained.
Our personal butler, Zaryr, was incredible. He made our stay so special by being attentive, professional, and always available to help with anything — from organising excursions to sending us daily updates on activities. His service was faultless.

My wife and I got married in June 2015, but it is only during Christmas 2016 that we decided to go on our honeymoon.
The Maldives and the Cerulean View Residence was our first destination where we stayed for a whole week.
We didn't have a big budget, so we couldn't go on a resort. So when we looked for a room that would be below £100, this hotel caught our attention.
