"I’m not usually one to write negative reviews, but this is easily the most disappointing Ramada property I’ve stayed at.
The hotel itself is massive, and the rooms are spacious. To be fair, the room was clean, and the breakfast was actually quite good—the highlight of my stay.
Unfortunately, almost everything else missed the mark. The staff was generally unhelpful, often providing short answers with little interest in assisting guests. My most frustrating experience was with room service, where I was met with attitude and ultimately hung up on during a phone call.
If you’re expecting the amenities and international standards commonly associated with the Ramada brand, you may be disappointed. The menu lacked many of the familiar options found at other Ramada properties, room service was slow, and the room design featured an unusual glass shower located in the middle of the room.
One of the biggest reasons I booked this hotel was to use the pool after missing a flight connection. I arrived around 6:30 PM only to discover that the pool closes at 6:00 PM every day. That’s absurd! Had I known that in advance, I likely would have chosen another property. It felt like a complete waste of money for the purpose of my stay.
The hotel also seemed to have issues with its reservation system. Despite prepaying through Expedia, the front desk had difficulty locating my reservation and had to re-enter all of the information manually. Was I double charged? I sure hope not."
"My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel during carnival week. The hotel itself is very nice, and our room was clean. Most importantly, the air conditioning was in proper working order every day. However, I do have one negative comment to mention: the bathroom had an unpleasant odor, and I couldn't determine if it was coming from the shower or the toilet. We had to use a lot of air freshener and kept the door closed. Additionally, the bathroom vent wasn't working. Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay."
"The hotel charged my card for damages done to a microwave and bathroom wall without producing any evidence that I did the damage.
Requested pics with date stamp of damaged equipment and glass prior to the beginning of my stay and the hotel did not provide.
They have however charged my card US $1,098"
"Stayed for 8 days and honestly I was disappointed especially the price for there isn’t worth it also when we arrived they said they was cleaning the room when they finished they told us the room was ready when we went to the room the floor had a lot of sand on the floor flies as well their complimentary breakfast was awful it’s either bread and eggs or pancakes and sausages. The bathroom had a very nasty scent I honestly visited on a business trip and trust me I couldn’t have waited for my time to come to leave this place I would never recommend anyone to stay there."
"The Marriott hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel experience."
