"The house was fantastic. The drive to the house was beautiful, and there were trails to hike and swim holes in the river within a short distance. The house had plenty of space, is eclectic and fun, well decorated but livable at the same time.Nice kitchen with anything you may need. It was hot while we were there so we did not get to use the outdoor areas as much as we would have liked. There is a huge screened porch /patio that would be perfect in cooler weather. Stacey is quick to respond to...

"We enjoyed being in the middle of nature, right next to a pond, that is connected to Rodemacher Lake. In the evening and night the frogs were singing their orchestra, and you wake up with birds singing. If you like this, then this is your place. If you don't like bugs, then this might be challenging. The cabin is equipped with all you need. It is a little outdated, but that fits the location."

Holiday Inn Alexandria - Downtown by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The lobby area was spacious and convenient. The hotel is close to local attractions and easy parking. One of our guest an elderly woman tripped in the bathroom and skinned her knee. The hotel did not have a first aid kit and I had to go to Walgreens nearby to get bandages/large band aid and anticeptic spray. The bathroom door came off the track about half way closed and would not move. Also the toilet seat would not stay up. One male, two females,that's a problem."
