"Breakfast options were second to none, such creative, nutritious and tasty varied options. Customer Service was brilliant and I was made to feel valued and welcomed, I asked for an additional hour and I got two. My questions and dilemma were answered and what I needed was managed well."

"I have stayed in ths hotel total of 9 nihjts in the past 1 month. Hotel was agreeable and staff were pleasant. However I was unable to have any proper sleep at night beacuse there was loud music playing in the beach and area associated with the hotel almost every night until 4 am in the morning. The rooms have almost no sound protection. I can even hear when the person in the room next door is having a bath."

"The location is good for us. The breakfast selection was terrible honestly, we feel they could have done muchhh better. The shower heads need to be yanked out & replaced. In this modern time it ridiculous how nasty, dilapidated & broken the shower heads are, the room we were in when we checked in had water leaking out the shower and looked moldy because of the leak. The pool is nice, a couple of days they ran out of towels so we had to walk up to our room dripping wet. The lobby needs sprucing up, more modern, better lounge area. The rails on our balcony was rotten at the bottom and broken off, now that’s a super dangerous thing. Maintenance is extremely lacking in this hotel. We’ve been coming here for 4-5 years but honestly do not see any improvements being done."

Ideal Executive Suites

"We arrived 3am to Ideal executive, appearance outside seems close to what was advertised online. However the single room and the 2 beds 2 baths room we booked were a disaster. Both rooms smelt like mildew and mold. We notice mildew in the baths. There was smell of fresh paint, which we realized was done to cover the mold. We took pictures for proof. Also The single room was all the way to the back of the property, appearance was unacceptable. Appearance of cooking gas tanks and missing tiles were in the 20-24 inches hallway. We refused to stay, we got accommodation at Royal Hotel 4am. Getting a refund from hotel.com/expedia is now another disaster because they are saying the owner isn’t responding. We learned that the area floods, so I will never recommend to anyone. Guyana tourism board will be hearing from us as well."

"The hotel charged my card for damages done to a microwave and bathroom wall without producing any evidence that I did the damage. Requested pics with date stamp of damaged equipment and glass prior to the beginning of my stay and the hotel did not provide. They have however charged my card US $1,098"

"Stayed for 8 days and honestly I was disappointed especially the price for there isn’t worth it also when we arrived they said they was cleaning the room when they finished they told us the room was ready when we went to the room the floor had a lot of sand on the floor flies as well their complimentary breakfast was awful it’s either bread and eggs or pancakes and sausages. The bathroom had a very nasty scent I honestly visited on a business trip and trust me I couldn’t have waited for my time to come to leave this place I would never recommend anyone to stay there."
