Arrived Tuesday, tired from a long drive from Toledo. Immediately looked after. Room was superb with a great view. Room was very clean, bed was excellent. Food very good. Loved the location of the hotel, after 20 days of travelling around Spain and Portugal this rejuvenated the batteries. An excellent hotel.

Communication with the owner was first class. They even provided detailed video on how to access the property and what the expect when we got there. First class experience all round...

Fabulous hotel for visiting the Guggenheim but also walkable to all areas of Bilbao. Breakfast is perfect, everything you could want and more. Ate in the restaurant one evening and the food is superb and good value for a 5* hotel restaurant. Finally the staff are all friendly and helpful. All together a great stay.

Great hotel to stay very nice and interior is superb. Rooms are big. The only think the room needs a mirror and more hangers.

Nice modern feeling hotel/guesthouse with a very nice restaurant. There was safe parking at the back of the hotel for my motorbike and staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is the highlight of this hotel but I think it may only be open some nights. Food was excellent quality and excellent value, a great dining experience. The only down side on my visit was the mosquitos which made my night uncomfortable.

We had a junior suite with views over the river. It was everything we had wished for this short break. The hotel is in a really good location. The breakfast excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Stayed Tuesday - Saturday. Room on third floor at front of hotel overlooking street - some minor street noise at night but not enough to disturb sleep - Friday night was noisy (weekend revellers). Centrally situated, perfect for reaching all parts of city, convenient for bus and train station. Lovely Italian restaurant next door (turn right from front of hotel) and lovely cafe to the left - convenient for evening meal or breakfast/lunch if you don't want to walk too far - many other...

Totally loved our stay here, our room overlooked the mountain which was peaceful until the sheep came with their bells on but it added to the character of the hotel. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfy. Would definately return and make sure you take a ride on the cable car

Lovely hotel

Comfortable and elegant hotel with access to stylish outdoor pool and thermal bath included. Our pet dog was welcomed but not allowed in the dining room or by the outdoor pool - OK in summer when you can eat on the patio. Short drive from Solares to Santander.

We don't normally do reviews, but there should be a special 8 * rating available for hotels that go above and beyond! Sadly our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather and then our vehicle broke down; our breakdown company led us a merry dance. The hotel were aware of our predicament and did everything they could, and more to help us and ease our pain and stress levels! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel - and I let the reception staff know how much we liked it on checking out. The beds were comfortable, the shower was efficient and it was good to have two chairs in the room to relax in. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet. No hot dishes but that was fine with me. Nice breads, cereals, cold meats and fruit. I don't understand, though, why hotels in Spain (of all places!) don't have grapes in the buffet. Nicely located too away from the biz but...
