It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. I made my booking earlier in the day but it hadn’t come through their system they totally took me in and showed me to my room right away. It was spacious and the hot water worked. Very close to the base of the Adam’s Peak hike so can start the hike from the hotel’s doorstep. Had a wonderful breakfast on their outdoor porch after my hike. I’d recommend this hotel to any travelers visiting the Sri Pada area. It’s a great place to get away from it all. Bring a book or two! The last few km of road to get there is terrible so plan on one trip in and one trip out when you leave.
