"- This hotel is a total scam. We went there but it was under maintenance. The security guy sent us to Golden Tulip hotel. - The guy at the reception told us that Golden Tulip is 4-star hotel which is not even actually deserving 2-stars - The breakfast has almost nothing. And what they serve was all perished. - Rooms were horrible, noisy and dirty. - The staff attitude was the only thing we appreciated. "

"Location is great for this hotel, and great pool area, but rooms are showing wear. The bed was very comfortable and liked the small seating area. I found it overpriced compared to other hotels in the area, but it is licensed. In need of updating but is in a great location. May have been a 4 star at one time, but felt more like a 3 star."

"Atallah didn't know or forgot he had a reservation. A few different guides and accommodations' people called Atallah for me (closed/no answer) or commented that Atallah didn't have any reservations. Seems like they all know each other; and 'Atallah" is a common name. But, it came down to me leaving Wadi Rum for Aqaba instead."

"What a place to stay! This is a real hidden gem. Basically there are loads of big camps and then there is Wild Oryx. With only 5 bubbles rooms / tents (which are huge) it is homely, personal and feels just quite exclusive. You are in the middle of no-where (some camps are almost next to the road) and we had a loads of fun trying to work out various star constellations. Which brings us on to Eid, your host. Eid is committed to making sure everything is great and you have the best time, greeting you like family. By far the most welcoming and genuine hospitality we experienced in Jordan. The food was good, the jeep ride amazing, camel rides fun and overall we had a really spectacular couple of days. For my children Wild Oryx was the highlight of the whole trip. Thank you Eid and we will do our best to come back if we can."
