Find relaxation in the desert at Desert Mountain View Escape, a 7BR/3BA retreat in the peaceful Sky Valley area. Paradise awaits in your secluded backyard, complete with a sparkling pool, hot tub, and views of surrounding mountains. On starry nights, enjoy a wood-burning fireplace under the covered patio. An open, single-story floor plan features inviting social spaces, including a game room with a pool table. Stylish decor, hardwood floors, and an updated kitchen add to the beauty of the dreamy vacation home. To enter the property, a 4 digit gate code will be provided with your check info, along with a 4 digit door code specific to your group. To exit the property, there is a button on a black pole half way down the driveway. Wait for gate to fully open before going through, and do not stop or park where the gate slides, as it is set close automatically after 3 minutes. POOL|SPA: Pool: $100/daily fee (to include spa) to 82 degrees. (More heat is an additional fee) Spa only: $35/daily fee to 102 degrees. \*\*Pool heating is not needed in summer months. Pool heating is available all year and usually recommended mid September to mid June. The rooms were very nice, with plenty of space for everyone. The huge kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and cookie sheets. Nice living room, dining room and meeting areas.A couple of notes: There are only 3 bathrooms; one (half bath) is available to general public areas (no shower/tub). The other two are behind bedroom doors and you need to make arrangements that other guests in the two other bedrooms without bathrooms will be able to access them. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. We arrived, after a couple of hours of driving, with 2 other families, and were met with cleaners frantically trying to clean up the house from the previous guests... shaking their heads and complaining about the state of the house. While waiting outside for 45 minutes, we noticed the landscaping lights were all knocked over, the spa was half filled, pool was a mess (partly due to the dessert winds), patio furniture was damaged.... not a good look. We called several times talking to property management, and tried to get the owner to call us back, but no luck. We debated going back home. Once we got into the house, and the cleaners left, we continued to tidy up, clean the pool ourselves, fill the spa, and setup for a few days there... trying to make the most of it. GOOD PARTS = the house layout was very nice for our group size. NOTE - The photos show a house in it's heyday, & the essence of it is still there but... couch not reclining, some lights & ice maker not working, gate & glass slider not secure, tv soundbar not working, etc.). The neighborhood is also not what we were expecting. \* THE WORST PART \* my 13yr old daughter was showering and was stung on her leg by a wasp. We found 7 wasps in that bathroom, with another couple found later in the day. And still, no communication from Anna the owner... whose only short response to me was about the wind affecting the patio. :( Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this one. ##### John & Cindy P. The price was much better compared to other properties the same size and same amenities. The communication with the host and property manager was very easy and they had a quick response time. check in was very easy. The property is located in a remote and very less crowded area so there no issue with noise and parties.
