Overall it was a basic place to rest for the night. I found the bed very uncomfortable. This was a spur of the moment, last minute stay, so I was not prepared for the lack of most self care products. A bar of soap, and that was it
the Updates to this hotel is very much appreciated- we had new floors, shower, beds, linen, towels.. nice!
AC/Heater worked great- and always dog freindly!

Toilet wouldn’t flush and they didn’t even offer me a different room and there was plenty of rooms
I checked in and left about an hour of watching people check in the windows of my truck, staff was unpleasant and disrespectful. A remodel doesn’t make up for the lack of house keeping either.
There was the worst day I've ever had at any Motel it was dirty it smelled horrible the people that work there were very unfriendly I actually only stayed one of my two nights

The rooms have been updated, but the overall place is run down. The lobby is just a desk behind glass and a row of vending machines. Beds were really uncomfortable.
I stayed last minute here because of being in Des Moines late. It was just myself and my grandaughter and i did not feel safe. Front desk lady said it was, but a lot of traffic with truck stop next door and you could hear the noise all night. Room looked newer but could tell it wasn’t done correctly. Gaps between flooring and tub ect. Hallway seriously needs updates as well as outdoors. Bed was comfortable but no other chair or couch in the room. Will not stay again.

This hotel is run down and very scary from the outside
Hallway carpet is disgusting
Updated rooms are very nice and clean
We got 2 rooms they were supposed to be the same and handicapped accessible
Traveling with my 80 yr mother and my husband who need grab bars etc
My moms room was perfect
When got to ours there was no fridge or microwave
Which we needed and paid for
So they moved us to a different room that had a both but now it wasn’t handicapped ☹️We gave up
The hotel doesn’t have enough parking at all and many people are living there
Not in our area
But it shows
Broken down cars in the lot
Broken windows of the hotel shattered glass all over
Rug hanging over broken window of cars broken window
And it has been there long time
The traffic of semis in the night etc was SO loud
Was concerned for our safety
For sure
Won’t stay here again

Dirty hotel. Guest were roaming the halls drunk. Beer bottles outside the A Door exit/entrance to our floor. Door would not even lock it was broke and proped open. This is why Motel 6 is a no go for me in the future.

The lock on the back door was gone, so anyone could get into the building. The water in the indoor pool was not warm. In the evening, the one ice machine for the entire building ran out of ice.

That it was vlose to Adventureland Park. But the outside doors didnt have the key reader locks they were removed. All hallways smelt like marijuana. parking lot was dirty and people in vehicles trying to get you to buy things out of their vehicles.
this place was very scary. My room smelled like cigarette smoke. The outside door had not lock on it. Just a hole where the lock should of been. Men sleeping on the outside steps. police were present. I didn't feel safe.

I like that the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Very affordable compared to other hotels in the area. Would definitely recommend and visit and again.

Floors were sticky in the room. Room was very humid and ac barely kept it cool. Public areas inside ( hallways and entrances) were not clean and did not seem to be very secure.

I booked 5 rooms. The front desk staff were behind glass which made it feel unsafe. Property was recently remodled and looked nice but beds were very uncomfortable and my guests didnt get good sleep. It was also very noisy from other guests. Would not recommend this property based on safety and comfort. It was a "you get what you pay for" stay.
