"I honestly would pass if you have another comparable option. My experience wasn’t great, unfortunately. It started off with having to wait over 15 minutes to check in. No big deal, really, but that was the start to the odd experience as the nice lady at the counter seemed overwhelmed. Upon getting my room key, I went straight to my room. After trying for 10 minutes to get my key to work, it finally did. I thought for sure I’d have to ask for help. I ate my take out food, showered and was in bed by 9pm. After having driven for 10.5 hours straight, I was exhausted. Much to my surprise, I awoke at 9:45pm with someone trying to get into my room. I jumped up, checked the peep hole, and saw a woman and her family trying to get in. I opened the door and they were so apologetic and embarrassed. After the adrenaline rush, I fell back asleep around 11:00pm. Once again, at 11:45, I awoke to someone else trying to get into my room. Same drill, but this time, it was a woman and her husband…equally embarrassed and apologetic. What was curious was the man showed me his key card and sure enough, my room number (219 for those interested) was written on it. As with the other family, I tried to help ease their embarrassment and told them it was ok! Back to bed again, and it was about 30 minutes later that the hotel room phone rang. It was the front desk trying to figure out who I was….at midnight. He looked my name up couAfter 15 minutes on the phone with the very nice and apologetic man, he "

"Ill start by saying that the host is nice and seems like a good guy. However, the property is not as described. It is a studio style, not a 1 bedroom. It is also in the basement of his home. 3 people cannot sleep comfortably as the couch is tiny. The room itself was very clean, the outside - not so much. There was no bar, the cushions for the patio chairs werent the right size or not there at all. The kayak that was there looked like it hadnt been touched in several years, the dock needs to be repaired. The vegetation around the balcony is VERY VERY thick poison ivy so those with allergy to it need to beware. "

"This home was so cozy and we were surprised to find that it had an extra 1/2 bath. We met up with my parents for a week stay and loved being together here and relaxing in such a clean home with beautiful views. The dock was great for doing a little catch and release fishing and space to sit and relax. It was a bonus that we were able to bring our fur babies and the property was completely fenced in. Dawn was an amazing host with great communication. We would come back for another stay in the future!"

"The entire stay was peaceful! Exactly what we were expecting. The Best are a bit outdate, but honestly it was charming, and beautiful. Alfred made the process smooth, he was always available. Walmart delivers fairly quickly which is a plus! Spacious and perfect in every way! You can also enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck, while overlooking the lake. A great escape for family and friends! We are looking forward to visiting next year! "

"Lovely, clean, comfortable property. We rent a lot through VRBO and you can always tell when the owner really cares about it. Super clean and comfortable, provides everything you could possibly need or want and genuinely hospitable and kind. Loved the dock, hooked a monster right there and just loat it while bringing it up. Bed super comfortable. Area super quiet at night. Tons of birds to watch and hear. Can’t say enough, loved it!"
