We stayed here in August while we visited Denali and we had a nice stay. When we arrived at around 9:45 PM, the office was closed and the "Open" sign was turned off and we panicked. Expedia had said check-in was until 10PM, but that was incorrect. The reception girl said people come late all the time because the information on the internet is wrong. Luckily there were still people in the office and we were able to get in our room. The room was spacious and the baseboard heater worked well. Our room had a nice balcony view of the river. We ended up with an upstairs room that was less than ideal because of having to carry 19 days worth of luggage upstairs. There is no elevator, welcome to Alaska, lol. Parking could have been marked better and I wish there had been more parking spaces. We ended up having to park pretty far from our room in the dark one night. Combine that with the creepy skeleton in the outhouse (I'm not kidding) near the parking area in the middle of bear country and you wouldn't want to walk out there alone at night, either. The cleaning staff forgot to restock our room one day and we called the reception desk to have it fixed and they refilled it quickly and they were apologetic. We used the laundry facilities, it was more expensive than anywhere else I have stayed. The location was good if you are visiting Denali.
