"Marelyn and Ron were wonderful hosts. The reason for my visit was to attend a friend's funeral and they were so kind and thoughtful, that it made a difficult time just a little easier. My room was spacious, comfortable and the garden courtyard was the perfect spot to relax and listen to the birds! The location is also very central and for someone not familiar with the area, was easy to reach and close to shopping and restaurants. "Firstly, the address advertised as well as the photographs of the accomodation are and is not the address of the actual "hostel. " There is no transportation to the actual address on Jan Smuts rd where you find out that you will be staying UPON ARRIVAL.. The cleanliness of the rooms are at best disgusting. No toilet paper is the tip of the iceberg. There are naked woman walking the halls with numerous "visitors" coming in and out. The owner\manager is impossible to get hold of. Disgraceful....

"A Hideaway in Joburg. Anna, die rechte Hand der Chefin ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Guesthouse. Schöner Garten mit kleinem Pool. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obstsalat und English Breakfast. Wir hätten uns eine Selfservice Bar gewünscht in der die Möglichkeit im Haus Getränke zu erwerben, da die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit zu fuß zu weit ist und es dort auch nicht üblich ist, zu Fuß zu gehen, obwohl es eine wohlhabende Gegend ist."
