At our arrival, they refused to give us any room as they wanted hard copies of an ID for every single guest. I gave them my US DL but they said only acceptable proof of ID is a passport. I have extensively traveled in the world and in India and never I have been asked to provide IDs of every single guest. We were stranded late night with my parents and a 3-year-old.
