We returned home on October 17th 2020 after a two week stay in Honeysuckle cottage. It was our second visit to the cottage after spending a week in it last year. We were just as pleased with every aspect of the cottage as we were last year. Comfortable, pet friendly and as sparkling clean as it was last year.. I hated leaving and look forward to another visit. Definitely do not need to research for anything better for two adults and two dogs..The local chippy was great for excellent fish n chips but we didn’t go to the local pubs as not within walking distance and that is the only aspect that was slightly disappointing but during the Covid crisis we tend to social distance as much as we can anyway so no particular hardship..all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here ! Thank you very much for our holiday at Honeysuckle. Very clean and tidy just what we needed after a long drive. Very quiet and peaceful, with a good location for the north coast and beyond. The walk down to the coastal path was a little challenging but well worth it when you get there. you have everything you need in the cottage for a relaxing break and i was also pleasantly surprised at the space we had. Just a final word on the minority of negative reviews. It,s all about opinion of course but i do sometimes wonder what these people expect, obviously never happy unless their picking fault. Thanks again. Nearest shop a few miles away that was the only downfall, no amenities in the village itself but it was just a short walk from the coastal path and good dog walking facilities. Cottage was tidy, not as clean as you would expect and appliances are very dated, oven has not got temperatures on dials, they have worn away, in previous properties all electrics have had PAT test labels, dated to show test date, none here. Their is WIFI but it is painfully slow and not suitable for streaming, TV signal was hit and miss, although this is I think a problem in that area, if the internal of the property was updated I would stop in the future, its a shame when these lovely conversions start to look dated, a bit of tlc and new appliances and I would return. having said all that we did have a great week and we were comfortable . ##### Trevor This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Gerald 12 May 2019 #### Very well equipped. Very well equipped. Carpet could do with a good clean. The stay was spoilt by the house next door having a new heating system installed, and the workmen using shed outside sitting room window for storage and leaving adjoining gate open, which meant we had to keep front door closed to keep dogs in and curtains closed to stop them barking. ##### Gerald This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Susan 28 Apr 2019 #### We had a lovely holiday in this charming cottage that has ever amenity that one could need. We had a lovely holiday in this charming cottage that has ever amenity that one could need. Including free WiFi We were close by lots of popular holiday destinations and managed to visit many place due to the cottage being close to places such as Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle which were all within easy reach. The owners were kind caring and considerate. The two single beds were very comfortable but we easily pushed them together which gave a super king size bed. The leather settee and leather recliner chair were both very comfortable and there was an enclosed space where if we needed to could have let our dogs out for a comfort break but didn’t need to as a field close by. Fridge freezer and washing machine, cooker, tumble dryer, television and microwave- all with instructions and all full size and working. A wet room with all facilities for someone with disabilities available such as grab bars and seat. Superb facilities all in all and also plenty of room to park in an enclosed off the road private area adjacent to the cottage. Thank you for a very wonderful holiday which felt like home from home ##### Susan This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Jean 6 Apr 2019 #### W Would recommend this cottage for everyone especially if you are disabled a great place to stay and would go back soon ##### Jean
