The staff at the Darcy were incredibly accommodating and nice. I really liked that about our stay. It was also extremely clean and well-maintained. However, what I didn’t like was the resort fee of $35 a day for basically nothing. You could come down and get one cocktail every day if you happen to be there during the very limited time it was offered. Or you could use a bike, but none were ever available. The day we arrived maintenance was being done on them. They did give free water, which was nice. Also we did not like the fact that there was no microwave in the room. We brought home leftovers, but we’re unable to eat them because we could not heat them. Also, it is quite far from the metro. Had to do a lot of walking or use the more expensive option of Uber to get anywhere. Really was not that close to any of the attractions we wanted to see either. Overall, it was a decent stay because it is a nice hotel but I would not stay there again.
