What a great place for our whole family! 4 siblings and their kids came together for a short trip and this was the perfect place. Plenty of spaces for us all and a great gathering space in the house and also at the fire pit. So glad we found this place for our trip!
The house was great! It accommodates a large group of people. We had 10 people and everyone pretty much got there own rooms. The trails were right next to the house.
This was an excellent property! It worked fabulous for our 2 families and kids. Perfect place for 4 wheeling, having a fire, and a homebase while we visited Marquette, Munising, and the beach.
This was a repeat visit and again had a great time! Access to snowmobile trails is great!
This home is the perfect size for our group. The location for accessing snowmobile trails is perfect! We will continue to access this rental in the future as it never disappoints!
This property was perfect for our snowmobiling trip! The accommodations are perfect for large groups and families! Ease of location to the trails were ideal! The property is beautiful, we will definitely be back during summer or fall, with our side by sides, to enjoy all that the location offers!
Great Location between Munising and Marquette. Well equipped and well stocked. Sleeping arrangements were perfect for our 11 people. Excellent communication with host. Only complaint was excessive insects on grounds prohibited outdoor activities even with bug spray.
Nikki was amazing to work with and extremely accommodating! House was very clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Was able to get to the trails right from the driveway, just a little bit of road-riding to get to the trail. Plenty of parking for multiple trucks and trailers. 10/10 would stay here again!
Property was great. Lots of room. A little far from towns. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils. Bathrooms stocked with plenty of linens.
The perfect place for nature lovers, for those that enjoy the outdoors, and for those that prefer to stay away from the crowds. Plenty of space for large groups, with plenty of full bathrooms. Lovely and peaceful surroundings, accented by the beautiful Laughing Whitefish river. The rainy/cold weather did not stop us, and we even enjoyed a time around a bonfire. You may enjoy Munising and Marquette, and anything in between by staying at Whitefish Lodge. We absolutely loved our stay in this place.
We stayed here for a family vacation, and the layout was great for 5 siblings, our parents, our children, and our doggos! We chose this property for its size to accommodate us all, and we all agreed it was a great choice, and the location and beauty of the property was a wonderful added bonus! The river on the property was beautiful; the firepit & huge supply of firewood was a big hit, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space! The interior was very clean, and everything was extremely well stocked, cookware, linens, etc. Washer & dryer was great to have too! Enclosed porch by the river was lovely too, one teenager camped out in there :) Location was nicely central to our visits to beaches, Pictured Rocks, rock hunting, waterfall chasing, and close enough to civilization to get groceries, etc. We are already talking about when we can return!
I had a group of Air Force veterans that had served at K.I. Sawyer. This place was perfect for our group! The location near K.I. Sawyer and many waterfalls, Pictured Rocks and yet remote and private. We had a group of 9 people and to a person it was a big thumbs up! The lodge is great and the amenities were everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. They supply all the wood you need for hours around the fire. Very glad I chose this place!
We got together for our son’s wedding in Marquette. The upstairs was the perfect meeting area with large kitchen and living room. The upstairs has two bedrooms with two queen beds each and plenty of room for our family members.
The downstairs has two units with two separate bedrooms in each units, each with queen beds.
Plenty of showers, hot water to get everyone ready for the wedding.
All communication with Nikki was perfect. No issues at all and would highly recommend this VRBO.
It worked out great for us. Thanks Nikki.
When getting to this property, it's pretty big and spacious from the outside. Cleanliness was met when we arrived. I liked the wrap around porch for the kids to play around.
The main level was upstairs and there were 2 separate units downstairs. Trying to go downstairs was a challenge come nighttime because there was no light leading downstairs. Thankful for the 3 fridge, more than enough space for our food and drinks. Only disappointment was running out of water. It took hours for it to come back full.
My family and myself (14 people) stayed here for 5 nights with ages ranging from 5- 69. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and still have a hang out area for us to be together. The host provided ALL the necessities and extras. There were board games for the kids, all the cooking utensils and plenty of cooking spaces. The AC was fabulous as well, but we would have loved to open up the windows at night instead of using the AC, but there were no screens. The beds were comfy and having 5 bathrooms was absolutely heaven with so many people!
The only thing that would have made it better if there was a washer and dryer. It was not listed in the listing so we knew there wouldn’t be one, but it would have been helpful while staying for the week.
We visit each year and plan to enjoy this place again next year!
