"Best of our Eagle River experiences. Getting off the chain was such a delightful surprise. Carpenter Lake was so serene, great fishing, big enough to tow kids on a tube and perfect for sunset pontoon cruises. The bedrooms were spaced out and so were the bathrooms, lots of different spaces to spread out. Had a great living/eating area where we could all gather for a movie and meals! Best stocked place, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, pots, pans, utensils, towels, and tons of misc stuff you don’t know you need until you need it. Upstairs and downstairs washer and dryer was a treat. Walk down to lake was easy slope and not too far. Great fire pit with firewood stocked, sturdy outdoor chairs. Trees between neighbors so pretty private. Super lake views, lovely deck to sit and enjoy the nature sounds with an awning if it gets too hot. Quick drive to town. Jason could write the book for being a host. Lovely experience, thanks for having us!"

"Pioneer Paradise 2 was a beautiful, relaxing home away from home. The accomadations appeared quite new and were luxurious -even better than expected. We enjoyed the lake view from the deck, watching hummingbirds, bald eagles, and turkeys. Weed free swimming is a short paddle out toward the island. There are so many places to enjoy the beauty of nature around this rental. Our family enjoyed a tour of waterfalls during our stay. We especially enjoyed Bond Falls where we hiked up and around both sides of the falls. O Kun de Kun falls was fun too- longer hike in- about 1.3 miles, but you can hike in behind the falls. We also went to Lake of the Clouds which was beautiful.We enjoyed a short drive to Eagle River to the antique shops, a fun thrift store Pancakes from Heaven, and the Pine and Pour Coffee House. Our only hiccup was upon arrival. It would have been helpful if we had been given a few more instructions: 1. There is not yet an address marker for the house so it was a bit confusing where to turn in. 2. We had a bit of a struggle figuring out which lock the key in the lockbox was for. We would definitely return to this property!"

"We loved the house. There were two families and it had everything we needed for the weekend. The game room was great as an extra space for the kids to hang and play. The location was convenient for driving to multiple towns nearby and the grounds are beautiful. Only note was that the part of the chain we were on was too shallow for docking the boat we rented which led to some issues but other than that, 10/10. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing northwoods weekend."

"Great location on water. Very comfortable accommodations. Great dock. There is a long set of stairs from water to house, but makes for great views. Big deck. Lots of room to spread out. Very close to boat launch. Plenty of parking space. Can be tricky backing up a boat trailer, but it's doable if you take your time."
