Dog Friendly Deep Creek Hideaway w/ Fireplace

"The Grizzly Den is a very cute bear themed cabin with a superb location for summertime lake activities.It’s about a 5 minute drive from Deep Creek Lake, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The cabin was clean, as were the linens and towels. The outdoor hot tub was nice. The bedspreads were a bit threadbare. My main critique would be that the cabin is very small and dark. It is rated to a maximum occupancy of 6 people, but we had two adults and two teens, and it was very cramped. I think 2-3 would be the maximum comfortable number."

"We totally relaxed during our week at Unwined. Rooms on the top floor are airy and spacious and the kitchen had almost any implement you could think you might need, except for wine glasses (which did surprise us.) We appreciated the books and the games that were left for all to enjoy."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Living Waters. Right from the start the host was accessible and answered our questions right the same day. The check in was seamless, and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking tools and appliances. The bathrooms were also well set up. There were even 2 dog gates for our 4-legged family member. We would definitely visit again."

"This place is well taken care of by the owners. It is nicer than advertised! We all loved it here! We played our yearly Deep Creek Pickle ball tournament in the parking area. This part of Deep Creek is no wake and fairly deep water. Location could not be better to everything."

"Overall such a nice property! Our dogs loved the beach access and the dock. Beautiful views and close to many restaurants! Having a hot tub and a fireplace was nice! However, I feel that it should be listed on the description that there is no AC in the cabin, not just in the amenities section. We did not know that prior to booking. Back porch screens could use some updating as well. Other than that, we had a nice stay!"

"We had a great stay this past week. It was great being right on the lake and having our own boat dock and right next to a boat rental marina. Everything in the house was as advertised and the very communicative and responsive experience with the host. With plenty of room for everyone to come together and plenty of space to find private down time, our extended family had wonderful vacation here."
