  • This unique property has it all. Professionally designed, this house blends comfort with an upscale feel, just seconds away from all your favorite stops in town. Plenty of space for families and friends with all the amenities. Outside patio area for relaxing in true vacation style and a yard with plenty of space for activities. The game room and fitness room in the heated garage are also exclusive to you and your guests during your stay (see photos).

    From the moment you walk in, you will feel as though you are being treated to a luxury stay with all the comforts of home. Upstairs features a vaulted ceiling for an open and vibrant feel including an electric fireplace. Downstairs gives easy access to outside through a walkout door. Outside patio for relaxation and a children's swingset with slide. A separate exclusive game room in the heated garage allows extra space to enjoy playing games and watching TV. Also, a fitness room allows you to work out during your stay.

Great weekend in Decorah!

Our two families had a fabulous weekend playing ping pong, working out, watching March Madness, making meals together and collecting eggs from the chickens. We loved exploring Decorah and had a great weekend.

Space for the holidays

Great home base with a fun game room and space to spread out while our family returned to MN/IA for Thanksgiving. We had a late arrival with good communication and Amy left the outdoor lights on for us so it was easy to get in! Thanks for a good stay.

Perfect Place for Family and Friend Bonding

This was our second time staying at Urban Edge. The home is spacious, clean, and cozy. It comes well equipped with all the essentials and lots of little extras. The beds were really comfortable. The game room in the garage has everything you need to have a fun night in bonding with your family and friends. A perfect place to stay when visiting Decorah.

Labor Day Get Away

This property is everything that is advertised plus. Host stopped by shortly after we checked in to make sure everything was up to expectations. Gave a lot of great recommendations for things to do and everything we tried was spot on. Game room was a blast and grandkids loved the chickens and collecting eggs. Kids are already talking about making a return trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well stocked with basic necessities. Amy and Jackson were promptly attentive to our needs and questions before and during our stay. Perfect Fit

We came to Decorah to show our adult children where their grandparents met (Luther College) and meet up with some family friends. Our family of 5 had plenty of space and the game room was perfect for the little down time we had. The location to town allowed us to come and go to Nordic Fest and easily access anything we wanted to do in town. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Great place to stay

We loved our stay at this property and will definitely rent again. It’s perfect for a group of adults or family and if you have young kids they have a really cute play area under the stairs. The mattresses are all new and very comfortable. The place was very clean and charming. They even had a Christmas tree set up and tasteful decorations throughout the house. Loved the fireplace. There’s a chicken coup out back and our whole family enjoyed looking for eggs and watching the chickens. Kitchen is updated with nice appliances and dishes. It’s convenient to town and Luther College. The game room would have been a lot of fun if we’d had more time to use it. My only suggestion would be to have more silverware and some sheet pans for people who plan to cook most meals. Otherwise we felt there were many thoughtful touches. Hosts were very responsive. I highly recommend this property.
