"The rooms were a little run down (i.e., terrible mattresses, peeling paint on doors, sliding door that didn’t want to open). The property was beautiful and walkable but unfortunately did not have assigned parking which put your car potentially across the entire property from where your room was. The restaurant was okay but more expensive than the quality of food. But it was close to Belmont park and Mission Bay and the beach. Overall it was a lovely stay."
"The location is great, and there is a lot to do. Because there are five pools and multiple hot tubs, we never felt overcrowded. The miniature golf course is also really fun! Though it is an active setting, much of the resort feels peaceful and relaxing."
"Mission Bay Hotel/Resort is a very nice facility. Our room was large and comfortable for my husband and his rolling walker. Very nice tile floors. Large TV. Parking was close to the room. It was a little tricky getting from our building to the restaurant...but we just drove over. I noticed the windows into the courtyard from the hallway were open. My only issue is there was a mosquito in our room. It was probably more hotel than we needed for one night, but it was very convenient to my relatives. And I appreciate we were able to book a single night."
"Staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The room was big for our family and clean. The only complaint would be our room was outdated and the bathroom sink didn’t work and neither did our sliding glass door. But overall for 2 days our stay was good!"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Diego Mission Bay
8/10 Good
"The hotel is located close to the highway (which makes it accessible) and between some self storage units and warehouses (not very appealing). Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, variety of breads and yogurt (I skipped the eggs and sausage)
Rooms were clean and comfortable. WiFi service was terrible."
"The property overall seemed average but the cleanliness of the actual room was above average. I like the laminate floors better than carpet. Only thing was the windows did not insulate from noise so other guests woke us up being by the elevator, and early Trash trucks on a Sunday did not let us sleep in. Only other thing was we didn't have enough towels for guests ad the phone did not work to call the lobby desk to ask for more."
