Ideal for your romantic escape. Relax by the glass fronted slow-combustion heater with local wine after preparing dinner using the kitchen equipped with a full range of modern appliances (full fridge, microwave, electric stovetop and oven). Saturna is a mudbrick and timber masterpiece and is a design based on passive solar heated principles (eco-friendly). It is built with eclectic architecture, sculptural and artisan finishes at the fore. The large light filled main bedroom is on the mezzanine level with views to the Wombat state forest. It comfortably contains a Queen size sleigh bed and has a wall mounted smart tv. Saturna's second bedroom with queen bed is located off the living/kitchen area. A set of french doors opens from the room onto a private deck and garden area. The second bedroom has a smart tv There is a large bathroom with a shower over a half bath. Saturna has a split system for main heating and air conditioning and wood stove. Saturna can be combined with Salt Spring to provide an accommodation for five couples with five large bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens, large living area, one outside deep soak bathtub and rain shower, extensive outside sitting and dining areas and a private hot tub on the main deck joined by stairway access between both properties. Perfect design for a romantic retreat, with lush gardens, hot tub and loft bedroom. We took our 2 children (3 yrs and 1 yrs) who loved sleeping together in the lounge room. We were very impressed with the artwork displayed both inside and out of the property, it created a fabulous atmosphere but was still relatively child friendly. Our kids enjoyed mastering the spiral staircase and discovering the hidden artworks in the garden and we enjoyed lounging in the spa each night or watching movies on the flat screen in the loft bedroom whilst the kids napped.
