Trip to Dawlish
Lovely spacious lodge which is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Pleasant to sit on patio and enjoy the views. The holiday park is large and if you or any one in your group has mobility issues a car is a must - there is a steep slope/hill leading to treetops. The lodge is located in a quiet area of the park. Owners Adria and Steve next door and available if needed. Lovely location to explore Devon :)

Lovely, hassle free break!
We had a great stay in Stephen and Adria's lodge. It was beautiful, clean and bigger than expected, and they were super helpful when we arrived a little later than planned. My son also really loved the cupcake game you had so that was a brilliant bonus! Thanks again, would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely stay in Dawlish
This is a lovely property on a quiet part of a park. The photos don’t do the property justice. It’s very spacious and the deck outside has lovely views across to the sea. There is everything you could need for a stay provided. The property is at the back end of the park on its own with a handful of other lodges so very quiet. Only a 10-15 min walk to the beach and shops etc. only a short drive from bigger supermarkets. A nice base to go explore other places in Devon. The owners were next door and although they left us to it were there to help if needed. Would definitely recommend

Very comfortable superb stay!
What a lovely, comfortable, relaxing property this is. Spotlessly clean, the hosts have thought of everything you could want to make your stay the best possible. Hosts are very helpful, but never intrusive. In a beautiful location sitting up high overlooking Dawlish Warren, it's peaceful, quiet, yet has amenities within walking distance. The bonus was the indoor pool on the park, great for kids! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and quiet lodge
The holiday park itself is very easy to find and the directions to the lodge were spot on. The swimming pool on site was good - you do need to book though. There is a playground just down the hill from the lodge which was always busy as we came and went. Local shops are 5-10 minutes walk. Sainsbury's is 15 minutes walk in the opposite direction for larger food shopping trips. It's an easy drive to places like Dartmouth, Newton Abbott and Babbacombe. Dawlish Warren railway station is around 10 minutes walk so we used the train to go to Exeter for the day to have a break from driving. The lodge itself is exactly as the photographs. Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds and seating. There's a separate utility room with its own outer door which was a bonus as we had one heavy downpour so could dry our wet coats in there rather than in the main living area. You'll find a washer/dryer there with two clothes airers so laundry is a doddle. It's very well stocked with pots, pans etc. Tea/coffee/milk/dishwasher and laundry tablets were left for us which was a great help. And there are DVD's, books & board games galore! You won't get bored! Some of the lodges are owner occupied which keeps it quiet and the neighbours are friendly. Adria is lovely - we had a problem with connecting with the WiFi which never did resolve itself unfortunately, but Adria came in to try to help. Other than that visit we were left to enjoy our holiday - which we did!

August 2022 stay at Dawlish Warren
The property was 5 star, with wonderful views. We even had a walk in wardrobe and a utility room, everything we could need. The outside space was lovely with table and chairs and so peaceful, yet within a short walk we had all the Golden Sands could offer. The beach had everything anyone could need and if you walking along the beach esplanade a quiet beach. We would recommend this log cabin and would come again.

The accommodation was in a beautiful location. It was spacious and offered everything we needed and more. It was exceptionally clean. The owner answered any questions we had straight away. We loved our holiday and want to come back!

Superb property
Just spent a week here - accommodation is superb, a real home-from-home. This place has everything you need, we can't think of anything that might need adding. Owners let us know they were available and how to be contacted on our arrival but then just left us to holiday - thank you

Beyond expectations
Absolutely beautiful, this is not your usual holiday home , very spacious, modern ,and a absolute pleasure to stay there , book it , you won’t be disappointed, it’s one of them places where you say wow as you go through the door

Good to return
Always a joy to arrive at this property. Everything in tip-top order, with a very nice touch of having paintings on the wall which have been painted by your host. Great views from the veranda, which is bordered with some nice planting, and decorative lighting when the sun goes down. Will definitely be returning.

The property was spotless and spacious and ideally located.
The owners had thought of every including games and books for the family, & the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils and cutlery. The lodge was so spacious and the outdoor area was lovely to have breakfast outside in the mornings. The lodge was located in a lovely quiet part of the holiday park, away from the clubhouse so ideal for little ones needing to get to bed early.

The lodge was excellent, plenty of space, everything provided was of good quality with many small touches that enhanced our stay. The location was superb being at the top of a hill on the park with only 7 lodges in Tree Tops area and an excellent view over the park to the sea in the distance. The entertainment complex was a 8 min walk away which suited us as we were not interested in that aspect and meant that the area where we were was quite and relaxing. Will be our first choice for staying in the area again.

I highly recommend this property! Communication with Steve and Adria was excellent!
We would absolutely stay in this property again should we be in the area! The home was well furnished with anything you’d need for cooking your meals. Beds were comfortable, the outside patio area faced the water with table and chairs and fold up lounges for relaxing in the sun. Steve and Adria were exceptional hosts. Fantastic Short Break
We had a fabulous stay here over the Easter Bank Holiday. The lodge is beautiful and very well equipped- we even managed managed cook a roast dinner on Easter Sunday! The location is faultless as you are on a secluded, peaceful section of the park but access to all the main amenities- best of both worlds. The children loved the swimming pool and play area. Dawlish warren is a great base for a holiday, plus we managed to book the nearby Dartmouth steam train and ferry trip from nearby Paignton. Adria and Steve were perfect hosts and on hand if we needed them. We will be back!

Family break.
Our 2nd visit to this property as it suits our needs. Only 3 steps up into the property as mother in law has walking issues. Once inside everything is on the flat ( no steps). All needs catered for here, cutlery, crockery ,bedding ,towels, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Very clean and well kept property. Great views from decking overlooking Dawlish Warren over to Exmouth.

Excellent Spot
A very nice, spacious lodge. Clean and homely with lots of nice decor, including original artworks, painted by our host. A lovely location, from the extensive deck, having the benefit of an elevated position, with an excellent view across the Exmouth estuary. Our hosts, who are just next door, were very welcoming. We will certainly be booking again.

Great accommodation and location
We stayed at tree tops for a week in September, the accommodation was excellent everything you could ever need and more. Spotlessly clean and every attention to detail was done. It is a great location for seeing south Devon. I cannot recommend it enough definitely a 5 star experience.

I have just returned from a weekend at the Lodge with my Mum. The instructions supplied by the host were clear and easy to follow. The property is absolutely beautiful and has lovely views from the decking and lounge. The sofa’s and beds are very comfortable and the property very well equipped with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses. The hosts were next door, let us know they were available but were very discrete. There are 3 steps up to the decking and with a walk in shower cubicle the property was perfect for my Mum who is a mature lady with sore knees. We had a lovely holiday and hope to return soon.

Fantastic property
The property had everything we needed and more and everything was spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely homely touches. Steve and Adria were fabulous hosts and couldn’t do enough to help us. We had a young family so the location was great as it’s only a short walk into Dawlish Warren and is also walking distance to Dawlish. Would definitely stay again and recommend the property.

What can we say other than the property was amazing! Really spacious and spotlessly clean. Both the beds and the sofas were really comfortable, and the kitchen had a great layout with all the pots and pans you need. There is also a fabulous outside area. Definitely given us ideas of a fantasy home by the sea one day. 🥰

Perfect in every way!
This lodge is absolutely beautiful and has commanding views over the park to the sea in the distance. Everything you need and more is in the lodge. The sofas and beds are so comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped if you feel like cooking. Sitting on the verandah looking at the view was so relaxing. We definitely recommend this lodge. We stayed for 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. The owners are friendly and very helpful and unobtrusively next door. Really comfortable, quiet and clean accommodation.

Amazing Stay
Thank you Steve and Adria, what a fantastic place you have. Great location and a fab luxury Lodge. We were blown away with the quality of the furnishings and standard of accommodation. The lodge has everything you need for a short break or a longer stay. The whole lodge was spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect. Amazing property in ideal location
What a truly wonderful stay. The property was spotless (particularly given the current covid situation) which was well equipped. perfect location to the beach , approx 10-15mins walk with lots to do locally for couples or those with family. Owners were very welcoming & very attentive. Thank you so much both for having us & we will definitely be back!

At first glance the lodge looked beautiful but finishing were cheap and tacky and very over charged for what it is, bedding was stained and rooms dusty in corners, we were charged for a broken shower door which WE DID NOT BREAK. To other people thinking of booking this lodge please be aware the owners live next door and you feel like your being watched all the time.

Thanks for your feedback but we feel we have to point out that all our reviews other than yours are only 5 stars and positive comments. Unfortunately you wanted to abuse our rules about smoking and the number of guests staying, which is why you didn't like the fact we were next door. We always respect the privacy of our guests which was difficult to do as you were so loud, all our neighbours could hear your conversations as well. The broken shower door was propped up so that it looked ok until it was moved to be cleaned. We probably wouldn't have charged you if you hadn't been so underhand about it. The lodge was very clean and is not as you described. If you found anything otherwise you should have mentioned it at the time. You left it in a terrible state and we had to throw away 3 towels that were ruined with hair and bleach. Anyone reading this review from Tina, please make your own judgement.
