Welcome to Snolodge! This is as high up as you can lodge to ski in and ski out on Salamander, Timberline Mountain's famous beginner's slope. The skiers in your group will love it! Spectators and photographers will too. Snolodge offers great ski access and spectacular views too. It is so easy to stop for lunch, warm by the fire or become a spectator from the outside hot tub! Let it snow, let it snow! Snolodge offers garage parking plus everything you need to hunker down and enjoy winter. This spacious four-bedroom home is the perfect place for a multigenerational get-together in every season. It is a wonderful spot for family and friendly get-togethers. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year in this house. The layout is perfect for our family and we love the large open floor plan upstairs. However, this year we had a BIG challenge with the house's cleanliness and general maintenance. We love the fireplace, but noticed lots of black soot inside and out this year. The ceiling in the living room is gross, it needed cleaned last year. The refrigerator is making a loud sound. There must be something wrong with the electric running to the hot tub, we have had problems with it turning off each year...this year we asked a maintenance person to come. (When calling, we weren't treated great and were told that the on call person was busy getting a haircut.) The basement toilets are both slow and one leaking slightly. The dust lining the chair rail in the main level en suite bathroom was so thick I could write my name. Kitchen cabinets are grime covered and a layer of dust is visible in many areas. We want to book this house again, but are seriously concerned about what state the house will be in a year from now. Please do a comprehensive clean and the necessary updates. Or sell it to me, and I will and then book it through your site. (we saw Blackwater Falls, Elakala Falls, Douglas Falls) We also toured Healthberry Farm (by appointment) and did some honey and mead tasting, and quickly realized we love mead (honey wine)! We did a little shopping in Thomas and Davis which are very artsy, had rainbow flags and lots of CBD. Loved the hot tub in the evenings. One night it was clear enough to see the stars and oh my, there are so many and they're so bright! The house is great for family or groups. The queen beds need a mattress topper, but the twin beds were comfortable. We had two problems with the place, unfortunately there was a mouse that got into our food each night and we had to throw some of it away. And we didn't realize that the house has no air conditioning so in the afternoons it was pretty uncomfortable. They did provide several fans which helped, and fortunately it cooled off in the evenings so sleeping was tolerable with the windows open. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a three nights during one of the last weekends of February. The property was great, we played pool, sat in the hot tub and most importantly we hit the slopes all in one location. Everyone loved the location, those who skied and those who didn't, because we could stop and see them during our runs. I wish it was a little easier to get on the slope but it wasn't too bad. We had plenty of room for everyone and may ask more to join us for next season, since we booked it again.
