  • A brand new basement apartment in a serene environment of Dartmouth. Close to Shubie lake, and other lakes where you can enjoy natural life.Less than 10 mins drive to Grocery stores, Malls and Downtown Halifax and Dartmouth. In this serene environment, you get to everywhere, including downtown Halifax and Dartmouth without experiencing slow traffic! Coming to the house, it’s a walkway with beautiful patio stones that leads to the basement entrance, the walkway is decorated with beautiful solar light stakes and wall sensor lights that brightens up when you begin to walk via the walkway at nights. The apartment door is code enabled for your convenience through out your stay. You will surely enjoy the serenity of the environment and the beautiful layout of the apartment. If you like taking brisk walk anytime of the day, you will enjoy this place, if you like coziness, you will enjoy this place.

We really enjoyed our 10 days here’s apartment was clean and very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to put a sponge on the corner of the drop ceiling above the dryer. Ouch. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Smooth, peaceful and quiet. Owner was very responsive to Calls and texts regarding Check in, things I needed during the stay and during Check out. For the price your getting plenty of space and all amenities neat and clean. 10/10!

Exited to stay but upon arrival you have to walk down between the houses to get to back of property and the grass was so long that it was hard to see patio slabs that were just placed on the grass and it was pouring out so the water was rushing down the embankment and pooling causing it to be a trip and slip hazard.At night when we returned from being out there was no light to light the way to the back yard down the grass except our phones. Inside Vrbo was pleasant and very modern and new. The kitchen was not fully stocked and host had to bring me a frying pan so I could cook. It lacked utensil, toaster, frying pan. Bed mattress collapsed on the window side of bed when sitting on edge of it and the springs and metal inside mattress were protruding out the one side. The bed required the sheets and pillow cases to be changed when I inspected the bed. More than damp towels were folded in bathroom for us to use and a used bar of soap on the tub. Was able to communicate with the host who lives on property and with Vrbo. Resolution was to leave- can say that if changes are made in all of the areas that I’ve mentioned that it would be eventually a nice place to stay.
