Darby's Sink Cave

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the spot and location to go too! The property was very well maintained, seconds away from the beach(which was excellent) and near restaurants and entertainment. Staff were very welcoming front desk, mini market on site both ladies were wonderful, cleaning lady Ms. Jones was absolutely the best! The rooms were spacious with all the amenities you need very clean could use some updates to the curtains furniture but otherwise beds very comfortable and a huge balcony or patio to enjoy for relaxing! I would recommend the property to other to explore and experience.

The property is kept clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is not a buffet all inclusive. The food is restaurant style where you have to make a time slot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was ok but if there is something on the menu you want to try please reserve certain items because they run out by 8pm dinner slot. The individual room pools are amazing. The one thing that made it not fun was the beach they provide a shuttle too was not a beach I would call it a lagoon. It would have been better if they provided a shuttle to Half Moon Bay just bring your towels because all the beach chairs were stacked up and no one there to help. If you decide to stay at the hotel rent a car and explore the many bay/beaches on the island. The furtherest beach maybe 50 min drive (Dickerson - the best beach we visited).

The resort was pretty good for the most part. However there were several disappointing things. It may have been that someone stepped away but Check in was chaotic. No welcome person or drink. Bellman took luggage but didn't give directions were to go next. Taxi staff was just standing there looking at us. All restaurants need reservations and they were hard to get into them they were. Either closed some days or said no availability. Food was okay. Everyday something was not available. Hunters steakhouse was awesome. Buffet was not great at all. My room was on 3rd floor there are no elevators . I guess I missed that in description. Some staff was friendly some was not. Room service menu was not great . You can get salad, burger or chicken sandwhich nothing else. Housekeeping did wonderful job with rooms daily but one day they ran out of clean towels so we had to shower using our damp beach towels! That is totally unacceptable!! On a good note resort is fun, has night entertainment and sport bar was open with food and drinks until 2am. The resort is small and everything is close together and easy to find, plenty of entertainment, beach was clean, pools nice. but I feel it’s overpriced compared to other resorts. It’s stated they are a Luxury resort I don’t see that! I would not return or recommend this resort unless prices are lowered. But it had mixed reviews I chose to see for myself. I have to say I do agree with a lot the reviews.
