"Historic timber frame building (16-17th century?) but nicely renovated with all amenities. Very spacious rooms, ours had an interesting view. Super friendly hostess, fluent in English, good breakfast available for reasonable fee. Convenient to underground parking in town center and near all the sights (Apocalypse Tapestry worth the trip on its own!) Note that there is a steep wooden staircase in central atrium to rooms if that is a problem-- but for us added to experience of going back in time."

"What a tremendous place, a beautiful building tastefully decorated, a lovely peaceful swimming pool, a picturesque stream outside. The owners could not have made us feel more welcome and were lovely. We celebrated my daughters 9th birthday there and it was like our princess was in a castle, they even gave her a card. "A beautiful house; we stayed in rooms that were grand in scale but also cosy and welcoming. The interiors and garden are wonderfully presented. The garden is a sublime haven enclosed within the walled courtyard. Stanislas is a fabulous host and breakfast was perfect. Highly recommended."
