(1,001 reviews) We definitely book this for the novelty value of staying on a beautiful old ship. Check in was an effort. No one was around to answer the door. It was 20minutes before we got in and only because other guests came back. Even though the portholes were closed the rain leaked through alot and some of our stuff got a bit damp. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was tasty and it was a fun stay. The ship needs some TLC and maintenance. Huge sports centre as part of it and park/ sports fields around it. Nice to get out of the city ( a lot of building work in Gothenburg at the time of the visit). Public transport is efficient and frequent so no problem getting to and from the hotel. Rooms basic and beds very comfortable. Everything clean. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful.
