It is not a party house for noisy schoolies groups, football teams, etc as we require quiet after 10pm, for our adjacent guests and neighbours. Enjoy watching the waves roll onto the beach from the comfort of contemporary leather lounges in the upstairs lounge room, or switch gaze to the quality original artworks or the 55" Smart TV with Netflix and Blu-ray DVD player or your pianist playing the Alex Steinbach piano, in ducted reverse cycle airconditioning. Or move the entertaining to the large covered balcony overlooking the sea, complete with weather screens. Dine alfresco or at the large dining table adjacent to living room and the fully equiped modern kitchen, complete with dishwasher. The large upstairs master bedroom has a queensize bed, generous dressing table and its own wall mounted LCD TV and similarly opens onto the large covered balcony and is complemented with a spacious ensuite bathroom. The upstairs bathroom also has a Bosch frontload washing machine and a clothes dryer, neatly tucked way in cupboards. Downstairs are two more sizeable bedrooms, one with queen bed (sleeps 2), the other with a single and 2 bunk bed (sleeps 5), along with a 2nd bathroom. All bedrooms have generous built in wardrobes. A high chair, travelcot, playpen and baby bath are tucked away in the cupboard under the stairwell. Full linen is provided on all beds including sheets, pillowcases and towels and a motorised lock-up garage and an offstreet carspace at the front of the building is available, at no extra cost. The keyless entry on the backdoor is ideal for late arrival or for convenience returning from the beach. There is even an outside shower to remove excess sand after surfing or beachcombing, A screened garden room and barbecue are located at the rear of the building in the private garden, along with full laundry facilities. Shops, including groceries, cafe, takeaway, hairdresser literally just a short walk down the road and the beach not much farther. Easy to get to Narooma and other areas in either direction. Would thoroughly recommend. Downstairs is good for mobility impaired especially if you just need to sleep and use bathroom (toilet & shower), but all living spaces (kitchen, lounge) are upstairs a significant flight of stairs. I'm mobility impaired (need walking stick) and did stairs once a day, one at a time without issue. All linen was provided as advised in description. The internet was slow at times and timed out when watching Netflix which was frustrating. Would have been nice to have some cushions to put on the outdoor furniture and the main bed mattress was too firm for me. It’s a short walk to the playground and beach and is close to local shops. Plenty of room inside and on the deck where we seen whales performing for us! We got courtesy bus to club for dinner and breakfast/coffee at Anton’s in Kianga which was five minutes drive towards Narooma. As we stayed as a couple we did not use the ground floor rooms but the two bedrooms and the toilet and shower room seemed very suitable for family guests. The first floor bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining and sitting room were spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoy cooking our own meals and found that everything we needed was provided. The IGA Supermarket is just next door and it is not far to Narooma for larger supermarkets. The view of the ocean and beach from the balcony was lovely. Would stay again and hope to stay in the future with other family members. Dalmeny is a lovely spot with good footpaths for walks along the coastline. ##### GAY H. Our family of nine stayed at Dalmeny Shores towards the end of winter 2016\. We really enjoyed our stay there and found there was plenty of room upstairs and down (we also booked the studio unit which has an adjoining door to the main 3-brm unit). The beach is only a few minutes' walk away and the IGA is metres from the door, although we drove the 15 minutes to the Woolies in Narooma for main shopping. There's plenty to do - not just in Dalmeny but also in Dalmeny Shores accommodation, with a good range of books, DVDs, and even CDs. With the studio unit we had a total of three TVs.
