The concierge staff exercise initiative and very responsive to assist carry our luggages upon check-in and check-out. The first disappointment sets in when the hotel reception staff cannot arrange for the 2 rooms which I booked to be near each other since we travel as a family. Second disappointment happened upon check out when the reception staff said that there were some greyish spots on pillow case in my room which tjey associated with hair color which I did not even color my hair. The hotel reception staff wants me to pay for the pillow case equivalent to USD12. This is ridiculous and unacceptable service of 5-star hotel. Actually, upon check into the room, I did see the spots on the back of pillowcase as well as a tiny blood streak on the bottom part of bedsheet. Since my check-in was in the evening and we need to explore Dali Ancient Town, I did not bother to feedback. It seems as if the Dali Gurong Hotel would like to reap off money from their guest. It gives me a bad impression of Dali Gurong Hotel which I will not recommemd to my family, friends and colleagues.
