"Thecroom and the resort is gorgeous but I think overpriced. I paid a lot of money for this resort and expected absolute excellence. The food was very hit and miss however the breakfast was good. First night I ordered barramundi with garlic mash potato, beans and pea ragou. I received fish and plain mash smothered in a thick mushroom sauce. I can’t eat mushrooms so they just scraped it off... "We chose this hotel over others because it seemed to be in a good location and advertised that it had an outdoor pool. However, on arrival we discovered that it doesn't have a pool - they just kept referring to a 'natural swimming area' i.e. the sea. It's also quite a run down and generally depressing place. We ended up cancelling 2 of our 3 nights and moving to another hotel first thing in the morning. I can't say much about the location as we didn't stay long enough to explore it."
