Shaded by an incredible canopy of macadamia trees, a striking poinciana, and a seasonal jacaranda, it’s easy to access yet wonderfully secluded — calm, private, and deeply connected to nature. Explore nearby highlights including the Mary River, the Mary Valley Rattler, Amamoor State Forest, and local horse riding, or simply stay in and soak up the stillness. You may also meet a few gentle locals on the property — sheep, and two friendly horses, Ted and Tim. This 139-square-foot tiny home features a queen-sized bed for two adults, easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and a bathroom. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you’re booking for a group, we have two tiny houses (Under the Velvet Sky 1 and Under the Velvet Sky 2) available with 24 hours’ notice, ensuring you even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy. By public transport: \- In rural areas like Dagun, many people use taxis or ride-share services to connect with train stations or bus stops in Gympie or Nambour — especially if there’s no direct public bus route available.
