Place, it's great if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing time, and if you are ok with booking activities offered by the resort on the island. Otherwise, you will have to pay for transportation every time a boat is needed, and you will have to coordinate with other boats and jump from one to the other in the water, which could be fun, scary, or impossible for others. Just be aware. Plus, of course, you will have to pay both sides to do that for you. And there is a schedule: if your activities end too late after 6pm, you will have to book a place on the mainland to stay, and good luck getting a taxi if you don't book in advance! Best sunrise I have ever seen! Tho! Also, be aware of the food that is limited to what they offer.

The Palms were an exceptionally reasonable priced apartments, with plenty of room within the apartment with a washer, dryer and fully equipped kitchen and great friendly staff BUT this did not compensate for the amount of traffic noise that you have to endure, which makes sleeping problematic for anyone but the comatose or hearing challenged, ear plugs are an absolute necessity Unfortunately without the retrofitting of double glazed windows and doors it would be impossible for me to recommend staying here, which is a shame because it's quite convenient for day trips from Denarau Island and the apartments are well appointed for a 3 Star establishment

While not a high end property, I would go back. There were issues with the TV and we couldn't adjust the temperature but we loved the small group, family vibe. The food was ok, but good value considering. The staff was great. Loved the location.
